Eurail a great way to experience Europe

Europe by Rail Looking for a budget vacation and a few European adventures along the way? What about designing your own route around Europe to see all those dream destinations? You can spend a weekend in romantic Paris and see the Alps before checking out the ancient architecture in Rome. Read on for how to use a Eurail ticket to plan your vacation because Europe is a lot cheaper than you think. Travel by trail is easy and efficient in Europe today and there are hundreds of destinations to choose from all over the continent. Eurail is an excellent way of seeing as much or as little of Europe as you like. The passes are split into a variety of combinations and price brackets so you can plan for a four country visit or a whistle-stop tour of the major European nations. The tickets are designed to either travel on consecutive days or on a set number of days within a given time period. And with a journey planner within the website itself you can start designing your dream journey today as well as set a budget. A Global Pass gives access to 28 countries and starts at 297 Euros whilst a one country pass is priced from 59 Euros. The four day passes start at 114 Euros so there is a lot to choose from when creating that journey. Over 300,000 people take a Eurail journey each year with some on the vacation of a lifetime and others preferring to focus on one or two countries in depth. That means that when you plan your accommodation, chances are that you’ll meet fellow Eurailers along the route as there are many hostels and budget hotels that are on the main Eurail routes. Eurail tickets are ideal for taking in the classic cities of Europe from Budapest to artistic Amsterdam and ancient Athens. Many ferry routes are included too so you could spend time on the Greek Islands or explore Sicily. Another feature of Eurail is that so many classic rail journeys can be completed using these tickets including the famous Bergen to Oslo route in Norway. Or, you can sweep across the Alps on the Bernina Express which winds through Switzerland and Italy. There are high speed trains too like the Altaria which sweeps through Spain from Madrid to Algeciras in just a few hours. Or, you can take it slow and ride one of the Alpine cog wheel railways up Europe’s highest mountains. Why not plan for a special event such as the Oktoberfest in Munich or the Carnival of Venice? Eurorail passes are just the thing to...

A Girl’s Fantasy. Where do you dream of going?

Who Doesn’t dream of traveling the world, experiencing new adventures and meeting new people? Alisha, a beautiful, but stressed out, young waitress, returns home from another uneventful, long night at work.  Exhausted, she quickly undresses and sinks into a hot, bubble bath. She sips a glass of red wine, and gently unwinds, listening to some soft tunes on her iPhone. Alisha day dreams about getting away. Where? Anywhere. Somewhere fun. Anywhere but work. “Oh, and my boyfriend is nagging the shit out of me.” at the moment, she is mad at everything.  Another sip of wine calms her down and as she sips some more, she slips deeper into the water and further away from her life as it is.  Alisha is nearly comatose, but in a good way, relaxed, at peace. The moment does’t last long enough,….cling…vibrate,…clink, her phone nearly jolts her out of the tub. It’s a text, about a party, “The Festival of Colors.” it says and displays the event on her screen. She stares at the invite for a moment and her mind wanders , “Wow, how great would that be.” Little did she know, it was just a click away.  As Alisha’s wet fingertips click to respond, she is zapped  into a world of fantasy. Instead of high heels and beer soaked stained floors, sandy beaches and ocean waters tickle her bare feet. One second she is soaking in the sun and then an instant later back soaking in the tub. The shocks get more powerful and Alisha fearfully, clutches the sides of the bath.  Alisha’s thrusting body creates waves that spill out over the sides of the tub. She continues to jolt back and forth from fantasy to reality.  To her, It seemed like eternity, In reality, was mere seconds. Finally she sits up and drops the phone to the floor,  “Was it a dream, she thinks. Was it the Wine?” Alisha, gets out of the tub, throws what’s  left of the wine into the sink and heads off to bed. “I must really be tired,” she concludes.  She puts on her nighties, turns her phone off and sets it on her nightstand. It does’t take Alisha long, to doze off. Once asleep, she is taken deeper into another world. She quickly finds herself traveling in search of this make-believe land.  A plane, a train, Alisha seems to know exactly where she is going, and makes all the right connections. She arrives at her destination and slowly walks though a vast empty field, till she reaches the edge of a cliff. She peers over the cliffside. Alisha can see for miles and it is stunningly beautiful....
